Tom Fawbush began broadcasting as a teenager and is today a seasoned media professional and entrepreneur based in Louisville, Kentucky, with a career spanning several decades. He began his broadcasting career as a teenager and has held significant roles in television and radio. For over a decade, he served as the General Manager of WBNA TV 21, Louisville’s only locally-owned television station. In this capacity, he transitioned the station from a network-run entity to an independently operated station, emphasizing positive and community-focused programming.
He sees broadcasting’s impact and responsibility on the community as a calling, and the channel strives to present upbeat and entertaining programs.

He previously served as the operations director at Clear Channel Louisville and in sales for ION Media Networks.
In addition to his broadcasting endeavors, Fawbush has been involved in the home improvement industry. Alongside his wife, Lillian, he joined the Window World franchise approximately 17 years ago, initially operating a location in South Central Indiana. In 2022, the Fawbush family expanded their involvement by taking ownership of Window World locations in Elizabethtown and Louisville, rebranding the latter as Window World of Kentuckiana. This venture is a family affair, with their son, Tom Jr., and daughter, Sarah Waskey, contributing their expertise in media and accounting, respectively.
Tom Jr. brings over three decades of media experience to the business, having served as Vice President of Word Media Group, managing multiple television and radio stations nationally and locally.
With 22 years of accounting experience, Sarah oversees the financial operations of the stores.
She is also the COO and CFO at Strothman and Company, a prominent accounting firm in Louisville.
The Fawbush family’s diverse professional backgrounds and strong ties to the Louisville community have enabled them to effectively manage and grow their business ventures, contributing to the local economy and media landscape.
Tom is a native of Louisville and a graduate of the University of Louisville.
