Bob Guiney is an American host & was a contestant on the first season of The Bachelorette and later appeared as the bachelor in the 4th season of The Bachelor.
Bob Guiney, born Robert Guiney on May 8, 1971, in Riverview, Michigan, is an American television personality best known for appearing on reality TV shows “The Bachelorette” and “The Bachelor.” Guiney first gained national attention as a contestant on the inaugural season of “The Bachelorette” with Trista Sutter, where he became a fan favorite despite not winning. His popularity led to him being chosen as the bachelor for the fourth season of “The Bachelor,” where he decided on Estella Gardinier. However, the relationship did not last long after the show.
Beyond his reality TV fame, Guiney has had a varied career. He was the lead singer of the Lansing, Michigan-based band Fat Amy, which later became known as the Bob Guiney Band. They released an album titled “3 Sides” in 2003. In addition to his music career, Guiney has been involved in various television hosting gigs, including hosting “Date My House” on TLC and appearing regularly as a correspondent on the “Today” show.
He hosted GSN Live from 2009 until the show ended in 2011.
Guiney has also been active in the charity cover band “Band from TV,” which includes other television stars. The band performs to raise money for various charitable causes. On the personal front, Guiney has been married three times. His current wife is Jessica Canyon, with whom he has two children, Grayson and Blake. The family currently resides in Seattle, Washington.
