Steve Higdon orients his life and career around his family, striving to be his best husband and father.

Steve was president and CEO of Greater Louisville, Inc. (GLI) from 1997 – 2005, leading that organization to the number one ranking chamber of commerce in the United States. During Steve’s tenure, GLI led some of Louisville’s largest initiatives, including the city/county merger, a $1.2 billion expansion of the UPS air hub, and Every 1 Read, which aimed to have every child read on grade level.

Steve received his bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky, with a specialization in Marketing. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Faulkner Real Estate, specializing in the commercial market.

He serves on the boards of several community organizations, including the Louisville Zoo, the Louisville Sports Commission, and Trinity Alumni Association.
