Episode 24. Heather French Henry – Founder, H.F. Foundation for Veterans & Miss America 2000

Heather French Henry is inspired by hard work and dedication and believes that everyone can choose to make a difference with the time they have.

Heather graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning with a master’s degree in design and illustration. She is the winner of the 2000 Miss America pageant and used her platform to advocate for homeless veterans. Heather has traveled the country to raise awareness of veteran’s issues and received the Purple Heart recognition award in 2002 for her work.

In 2002 and 2003, Heather was the co-host of Fox in the Morning on WDRB in Louisville, KY. She is also the author of the children’s book series “Claire’s Holiday Adventures” and “Claire’s Everyday Adventures.”

Heather continues to work on the behalf of homeless and disabled veterans across the nation.
