Herschel Zahnd is a Director, Editor, Cinematographer, Photographer, Producer, Writer, and Actor; and that’s just on Monday. With hundreds of projects under his belt on both sides of the stage and screen, Herschel is the epitome of the kid that didn’t know what he wanted to be when he grew up; so he decided to do it all. In 2005 Girl Number Three became Herschel’s first feature film as a director, cinematographer, producer, and editor. Renegade Art Productions, LLC; Herschel’s Production Company, has since produced, dozens of commercials, music videos, short films, documentaries, and TV pilots all over the world. His most recent project, DER VERTRAG, starring Vernon Wells, premiered in 2017 and is currently in development for further production. He returned to stage directing in 2017 with the Alley Theaters production of Reefer Maddness the musical. Herschel resides in Jeffersonville, IN with his wife Mary Ellen and their many rescue animals.
